Ranking of HSE Authors in SSRN: July 2012
As of July 1st 2012, over 8000 authors have published their papers in the Social Science Research Network (SSRN). This number includes 150 members of the HSE staff.
Generally, international researchers who work at the HSE are a little bit more active in promoting the results of their research through the Social Science Research Network (SSRN): they publish working papers and articles on the personal pages, in research paper series and topical e-journals. But the growing number of HSE researchers registered in the SSRN proves that this website is also becoming popular among Russian researchers.
Currently the most read and cited HSE authors include Mikhail Lokshin, Dean Fantazzini, Olga Lazareva, Timothy Frye and Vladimir Gimpelson.
The SSRN rankings of the most in demand working papers and articles are updated on a daily basis. In June the top 10 included the paper by HSE tenured professor Igor Gurkov 'Evisiting Miles-Snow Typology of Strategic Orientation Using Stakeholder Theory’ published in the MRN Corporate Strategy & Business Policy Network.
Among the working papers by the HSE programme of fundamental research, the most popular by number of views is currently the paper by Gaaitzen J. de Vries, Abdul A. Erumban, Marcel P. Timmer, Ilya B. Voskoboynikov and Harry X. Wu ‘Deconstructing the BRICs: Structural Transformation and Aggregate Productivity Growth’.
